
Cyber Incident Response Lead - Advanced Response Team (Remote)

- Lead and manage the Cyber Incident Response team to ensure effective and timely response to cyber incidents.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to ensure readiness for potential cyberattacks.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT and legal teams, to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks.
- Collaborate with external partners such as law enforcement and cybersecurity vendors to enhance response capabilities.
- Conduct regular training sessions and drills for the team to improve response capabilities and maintain readiness.
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats and trends to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on incident response processes and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Investigate and analyze cyber incidents to determine the root cause and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on incident response activities and recommend strategies to improve cybersecurity.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices in incident response and implement them within the team and organization.
Extensive Technical Knowledge And Experience In Cyber Incident Response, Including Advanced Threat Detection, Containment, And Remediation Techniques.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing And Leading A Team Of Cyber Incident Responders.
In-Depth Understanding Of Industry-Standard Incident Response Frameworks And Methodologies, Such As Nist, Sans, And Mitre Att&Ck.
Experience Working In A Remote Or Virtual Environment, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Coordinate With Team Members In Different Locations.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Make Quick And Informed Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.
