We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic Legal team. As the Corporate Counsel for Marketing Services, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our Marketing Services business unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and provide legal guidance on a wide range of marketing and advertising matters.   1. Provide legal advice and support to Experian's Marketing Services business unit.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with marketing laws and regulations.
  3. Conduct legal research and analysis to advise on marketing strategies and initiatives.
  4. Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to marketing and advertising.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  6. Advise on data privacy and security regulations related to marketing and advertising.
  7. Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  8. Collaborate with external counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
  9. Provide legal guidance on potential risks and liabilities related to marketing and advertising activities.
  10. Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations related to marketing and advertising.
  11. Train and educate business teams on legal requirements and best practices for marketing and advertising.
  12. Manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Work closely with the legal team to develop and implement legal strategies and initiatives.
  14. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  15. Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal matters related to marketing services.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or In-House Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Marketing Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Ftc Regulations, Can-Spam Act, And Tcpa.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.

  • Experience Providing Legal Counsel And Support For Marketing Initiatives, Such As Advertising Campaigns, Promotions, And Data Privacy Compliance.
