  1. Monitor and analyze cloud costs to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for cloud spending.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures related to cloud usage.
  5. Utilize cloud cost management tools and platforms to track and report on spending.
  6. Conduct regular audits of cloud usage and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on cloud cost and efficiency.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in cloud finance and operations.
  9. Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to cloud costs and operations.
  10. Provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize cloud spending and operations.
  11. Collaborate with cloud service providers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  13. Train and educate team members on cloud cost management and best practices.
  14. Participate in financial planning and budgeting activities related to cloud spending.
  15. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for efficient cloud operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Expertise In Cloud Computing: As A Cloud Finops Analyst At Experian, You Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cloud Technology, Including Knowledge Of Major Cloud Providers Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud. You Should Also Be Familiar With Cloud Cost Management Tools And Techniques.

  • Financial Management Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Financial Principles And The Ability To Analyze And Manage Financial Data. You Should Have Experience With Budgeting, Forecasting, And Cost Optimization Strategies.

  • Data Analysis Skills: As A Cloud Finops Analyst, You Will Be Responsible For Analyzing And Interpreting Large Volumes Of Data Related To Cloud Costs And Usage. You Should Have Strong Data Analysis Skills And Be Proficient In Tools Like Sql, Excel, And Data Visualization Software.

  • Communication And Collaboration: This Position Requires Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills As You Will Be Working With Various Teams Across The Organization, Including Finance, It, And Cloud Engineering. You Should Be Able To Clearly Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Certifications: Experian Values Certifications As A Way To Demonstrate Expertise And Knowledge In A Particular Field. As A Cloud Finops Analyst, It Would Be Beneficial To Have Certifications Related To Cloud Technology, Financial Management, Or Data Analysis.
