- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop machine learning solutions to address them
- Research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to enhance the shopping experience for Etsy's buyers and sellers
- Develop and maintain scalable and reliable code for machine learning systems
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing machine learning models
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and provide technical guidance for product development
- Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to ensure seamless integration of machine learning models into Etsy's data infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to the team's coding standards, and help maintain a high level of code quality
- Contribute to the growth and success of the Machine Learning team through knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and innovation.
Strong Technical Background In Software Engineering, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Deploying Machine Learning Models And Algorithms.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Commonly Used In Machine Learning, Such As Python, Java, And R.
Experience With Big Data Technologies, Such As Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka, And The Ability To Design And Implement Scalable Machine Learning Pipelines.
Knowledge Of Various Machine Learning Techniques And Frameworks, Such As Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, And Scikit-Learn.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Cross-Functional Team And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
