Extensive Experience In Application Security: A Senior Software Engineer At Etsy Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience In Identifying And Addressing Security Vulnerabilities In Web Applications. This Includes Knowledge Of Common Attack Vectors, Threat Modeling, And Secure Coding Practices.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And Javascript. They Should Also Be Familiar With Security-Focused Languages Like Go And Rust.
