- Design user-friendly and visually appealing features and interfaces for the Etsy platform, specifically for the Seller Services team.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Conduct user research to gather insights and feedback, and use data to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
- Lead design reviews and present design proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs as needed.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to design guidelines and standards across all seller-facing products and features.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and continuously strive to improve and evolve the overall design of the Etsy platform.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing support and feedback to foster their growth and development.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the seller experience.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Etsy's mission and values, and actively incorporate them into all design decisions.
Extensive Experience In Product Design: A Senior Product Designer For Seller Services At Etsy Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Product Design, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Launching Products In The E-Commerce Industry.
Strong E-Commerce Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of The E-Commerce Landscape, Including Market Trends, User Behavior, And Competitive Analysis Is Crucial For A Senior Product Designer At Etsy. This Knowledge Will Help In Creating Innovative And Effective Solutions For Seller Services.
