Compliance Enablement Administrator

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and enthusiastic Compliance Enablement Administrator to join the Compliance team at Etsy. This important role helps ensure that we maintain a high level of compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and compliance issues, experience with compliance operations, and a passion for developing and implementing compliance initiatives.The Compliance Enablement Administrator will be responsible for identifying compliance risks and developing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, they will work closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure that all compliance requirements are met.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in compliance operations and/or legal compliance. They must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities of a Compliance Enablement Administrator:

1. Identify compliance risks and develop processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all compliance requirements are met.
3. Create and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and other documents.
4. Monitor and audit compliance-related activities and processes to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
5. Assist with the implementation of compliance initiatives and programs.
6. Respond to requests for information related to compliance issues.
7. Ensure that training and communications programs are in place to educate employees on applicable laws and regulations.
8. Research and stay up-to-date on current laws and regulations related to compliance.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
10. Provide guidance and support to the compliance team in resolving compliance issues.
