Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet the company's current and future needs.
Maintain and support the company's network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Take ownership of network projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior network engineers.
Conduct regular network performance evaluations and implement necessary optimizations to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Provide input on budgeting and procurement of networking equipment and services.
Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement new networking products and services.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates and recommendations on network infrastructure.
Continuously monitor and assess the network for potential issues and implement solutions to improve overall network reliability and performance.
Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support and maintenance.
Adhere to best practices and industry standards for network design, implementation, and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Network Design And Implementation: A Senior Network Engineer At Epam Systems Should Possess Strong Experience In Designing And Implementing Complex Network Solutions. This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of Network Infrastructure, Protocols, And Security.
Advanced Knowledge Of Network Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have An In-Depth Understanding Of A Wide Range Of Network Technologies, Including Routing And Switching Protocols, Firewalls, Load Balancers, And Virtual Private Networks (Vpns). They Should Also Be Familiar With Emerging Technologies Such As Software-Defined Networking (Sdn) And Network Function Virtualization (Nfv).
Proficiency In Network Troubleshooting And Problem Solving: A Senior Network Engineer Should Have The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Network Issues, Utilizing Their Strong Troubleshooting Skills And Knowledge Of Network Diagnostics Tools. They Should Also Have Experience In Creating And Implementing Proactive Measures To Prevent Future Network Problems.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Network Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Complex Network Projects From Start To Finish. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Coordinating With Team Members, And Ensuring Project Deadlines Are Met. Strong Project Management Skills Are A Must For This Role.
