Develop and maintain mainframe IBM Assembler programs and modules.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement innovative solutions for clients.
Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance and optimize mainframe applications.
Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that may arise during development.
Ensure code quality and adhere to coding standards.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mainframe technology.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members to provide updates on progress and any potential roadblocks.
Continuously improve and optimize existing mainframe programs.
Mentor and train junior team members on mainframe IBM Assembler programming best practices.
Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations.
Proactively identify and resolve any performance issues in mainframe applications.
Maintain thorough documentation of code and technical processes.
Represent EPAM Systems in a professional and positive manner when interacting with clients.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mainframe Ibm Assembler Programming.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Ibm Z/Os Operating System And Related Tools.
Experience With Mainframe Performance Tuning And Optimizing Applications.
Proven Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Junior Assembler Engineers.
