Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable Golang code for cutting-edge projects.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions.
Keep up to date with industry developments and trends in Golang development and incorporate them into project work.
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through writing clean, well-structured code and implementing best practices.
Optimize software performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Continuously learn and improve skills, staying updated on the latest technologies and techniques in Golang development.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address business needs and requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates and discuss project progress.
Proactively identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges in project development.
Adhere to company coding standards and processes, and ensure code meets all necessary security and compliance requirements.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Golang: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience With Golang. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Language's Core Concepts, Such As Concurrency, Interfaces, And Channels.
Strong Understanding Of System Design And Architecture: A Senior Golang Engineer At Epam Systems Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Software Design Principles And Architecture Patterns. They Should Be Able To Design And Develop Scalable, Performant, And Maintainable Applications.
Proficiency In Cloud Technologies: As Epam Systems Is A Leading Provider Of Cloud Solutions, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Technologies, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Be Able To Design And Develop Cloud-Native Applications Using Golang.
Experience With Microservices Architecture: Epam Systems Follows A Microservices Architecture For Building Complex Enterprise Applications. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing And Developing Microservices Using Golang And Related Frameworks Like Grpc And Protobuf.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Golang Engineer Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Troubleshoot Complex Issues In A Distributed Environment. They Should Have Experience In Debugging Production Issues And Finding Solutions In A Timely Manner.
