Develop and maintain the DevOps infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for our clients' projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the GCP infrastructure.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the GCP infrastructure.
Stay updated on the latest developments in GCP and recommend improvements to current processes and systems.
Mentor and train junior DevOps engineers on GCP best practices and technologies.
Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the protection of data and systems.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
Continuously identify and implement ways to optimize costs and improve efficiency on GCP.
Keep accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Google Cloud Platform (Gcp) - A Senior Devops Engineer At Epam Systems Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With Gcp Services Such As Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, And Google Cloud Storage.
Strong Programming And Automation Skills - The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Go, And Have Experience With Automation Tools Like Ansible Or Terraform.
Experience With Ci/Cd Pipelines - Epam Systems Values The Ability To Build And Maintain Efficient And Reliable Ci/Cd Pipelines. A Senior Devops Engineer Should Have Experience With Tools Such As Jenkins Or Gitlab Ci.
Knowledge Of Containerization And Orchestration - Containerization And Orchestration Technologies Such As Docker And Kubernetes Are Essential To Modern Devops Practices. A Senior Devops Engineer Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of These Concepts And How To Implement Them In A Gcp Environment.
Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills - In A Fast-Paced Devops Environment, Issues And Challenges Can Arise Quickly. A Senior Devops Engineer Should Be Able To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Complex Problems Efficiently To Ensure Smooth Operations And Minimize Downtime.
