At EPAM Systems, we are looking for an experienced Lead PHP Engineer to join our team. We need someone who is passionate about coding and can lead our development team to success.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with PHP and related technologies, as well as a proven track record of leading teams to create great web applications. You must also have a strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, and databases. Additionally, experience with a variety of frameworks, such as Symfony, Zend, and Laravel, is a plus.We want someone who is a team player, a problem solver, and a creative thinker that can lead by example. Responsibilities:

Develop and lead a team of PHP developers in building web applications
Provide guidance and technical direction to the development team
Design and implement object-oriented programming, SQL, and other associated technologies
Develop and maintain high performance, secure, and reliable web applications
Assist with troubleshooting and debugging code
Utilize frameworks such as Symfony, Zend, and Laravel
Monitor and maintain system performance
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices
Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery
Mentor and train junior developers in the team
