Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective machine learning operations (MLOps) within EPAM Systems.
Lead and manage a team of MLOps engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful deployment and management of ML models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements for MLOps.
Design and implement processes and tools for monitoring, testing, and optimizing ML models in production.
Continuously evaluate and improve MLOps processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce risks.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MLOps and implement best practices within the organization.
Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of ML models into production systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for MLOps processes, procedures, and best practices.
Provide regular updates and reports on the performance of ML models to stakeholders.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to MLOps processes and escalate to the appropriate teams for resolution.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote EPAM's MLOps capabilities and services to potential clients.
Train and onboard new team members on MLOps processes and tools.
Maintain a strong understanding of the business goals and objectives to align MLOps strategies accordingly.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the MLOps team.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Devops And Mlops: A Lead Mlops Engineer At Epam Systems Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Both Devops And Mlops Principles, Processes, And Tools. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Mlops Solutions In Complex Environments.
Strong Background In Data Engineering And Machine Learning: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Background In Data Engineering And Machine Learning, With A Deep Understanding Of Data Pipelines, Data Storage, And Machine Learning Algorithms. They Should Also Have Experience In Building And Deploying Machine Learning Models In Production.
Proficiency In Cloud Computing: As Epam Systems Leverages Cloud-Based Technologies For Their Projects, A Lead Mlops Engineer Should Have Expertise In At Least One Cloud Platform Such As Aws, Azure, Or Gcp. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Scalable, Highly Available, And Secure Mlops Solutions On The Cloud.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead Role, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For A Lead Mlops Engineer At Epam Systems. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders And Lead A Team Of Mlops Engineers.
Experience With Automation And Ci/Cd: Epam Systems Values Automation And Continuous Integration And Deployment (Ci/Cd) In Their Projects. A Lead Mlops Engineer Should Have Experience In Implementing Automation And Ci/Cd Processes For Mlops Workflows, Ensuring Efficient And Error-Free Deployment Of Machine Learning Models.
