Job Description

We at EPAM Systems are looking for an experienced Lead Android Developer to manage and develop our Android apps and products. The perfect candidate will have a passion for creating innovative mobile applications and the drive to take on a leadership role in developing our Android solutions.The Lead Android Developer will be responsible for developing and managing our Android applications, as well as providing technical leadership on the team. We are seeking a candidate with excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of the Android platform, and a proven track record of successful mobile application development.The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience developing Android applications, and be able to demonstrate a mastery of Java, Android SDK, and related frameworks. They should also have experience with Android Studio, RESTful web services, and version control systems. Furthermore, the Lead Android Developer should have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders.If you’re an experienced Android developer with a passion for creating innovative mobile applications, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage Android applications
Provide technical leadership to the Android development team
Utilize Java, Android SDK, and related frameworks
Use Android Studio, RESTful web services, and version control systems
Communicate effectively with other developers and stakeholders
Solve complex problems and debug Android applications
Develop innovative mobile applications
Collaborate with team members to ensure successful product delivery
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Android platform and technologies
Monitor and optimize application performance
