Lead and manage all aspects of data migration projects for our clients, ensuring successful and timely completion.
Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans, utilizing the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and identify potential risks and issues.
Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure accurate and efficient migration.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any data migration issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for data migration processes and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data migration and make recommendations for process improvements.
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
Continuously monitor and evaluate data migration processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and security protocols.
Take ownership of any escalations or critical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Collaborate with other teams within EPAM to share knowledge and best practices.
Represent EPAM as a subject matter expert in data migration at conferences and industry events.
