- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Confluent Kafka and its various components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Kafka-based solutions for clients
- Configure, deploy, and manage Kafka clusters and related infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or performance bottlenecks within the Kafka environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices for Kafka implementation
- Develop scripts and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency
- Work closely with project managers and clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
- Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure smooth functioning of Kafka infrastructure
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of EPAM's Kafka engineering practices.
Strong Understanding Of Apache Kafka Architecture And Hands-On Experience With Confluent Kafka Components, Including Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, And Schema Registry.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java And Python, With Experience In Developing And Deploying Kafka Applications.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Distributed Systems And Experience With Large-Scale Data Processing And Real-Time Streaming.
Experience With Deploying And Managing Kafka Clusters In A Production Environment, Including Monitoring, Troubleshooting, And Performance Tuning.
Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment And Communicate Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
