At EPAM Systems, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Big Data (Java/Scala) professional to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can bring strong technical expertise and a drive to solve challenging problems in the field of Big Data.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on big data technologies. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience with Java/Scala and Apache Spark, as well as experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and/or NoSQL databases. Additionally, it is important that the candidate is familiar with software development best practices, such as design patterns, test-driven development, and version control.If you have a passion for Big Data, and the technical expertise to make a difference, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative software solutions utilizing Big Data (Java/Scala) technologies.
2. Analyze customer requirements and create technical specifications for projects.
3. Develop, test, and debug software applications.
4. Follow software development best practices, such as design patterns, test-driven development, and version control.
5. Work with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and/or NoSQL databases.
6. Monitor performance and troubleshoot any issues.
7. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Big Data technologies and trends.
