Job Description

At EPAM Systems, we are looking for an experienced and motivated AWS Application Modernization Architect to join our team. This role is critical to our success and requires a unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills to help us achieve our goals.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with AWS application modernization and architecture. This includes experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS Serverless, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, and AWS Lambda. Additionally, the candidate should possess an understanding of the principles and best practices of software engineering, including design patterns, modular design, and scalability. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and a customer-centric approach to technology. We are looking for a creative individual who can think outside the box and use their expertise to identify and solve complex problems. A successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities:

Design and implement AWS cloud solutions to modernize applications
Create and maintain automated CloudFormation templates for AWS infrastructure
Utilize Amazon API Gateway, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Amazon EC2, and AWS Lambda to build scalable solutions
Troubleshoot and debug application issues as necessary
Develop and maintain design patterns, modular design, and scalability principles
Document and communicate solutions to stakeholders
Provide technical and customer-centric solutions to complex problems
Remain current on new technologies and best practices in the field of AWS application modernization and architecture
