Develop, implement, and maintain application security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of sensitive data and digital solutions
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions for remediation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development process and ensure secure coding practices are followed
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Perform code reviews and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses in applications
Create and maintain documentation related to application security, including risk assessments, incident response plans, and security policies
Provide training and guidance to developers and other team members on secure coding practices and security best practices
Participate in the design and architecture of applications to ensure security is integrated from the beginning
Serve as a subject matter expert on application security for both internal teams and clients, providing guidance and recommendations as needed
Continuously monitor and improve the overall security posture of applications through regular testing, monitoring, and updates.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Application Security: A Strong Candidate For The Application Security Architect Role At Epam Systems Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Application Security Principles And Best Practices, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In This Field.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Application Security, Such As Owasp, Iso 27001, And Gdpr. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Ensuring Compliance And Mitigating Security Risks.
Proficiency In Security Tools And Technologies: Epam Systems Is Looking For An Application Security Architect Who Is Proficient In Using A Variety Of Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Web Application Firewalls, Vulnerability Scanners, And Code Analysis Tools.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As An Application Security Architect, You Will Be Working With Cross-Functional Teams To Implement Security Measures And Address Vulnerabilities. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities: The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems Is A Must For An Application Security Architect.
