  1. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
  2. Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  3. Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper machining techniques are being used.
  4. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine performance or product quality.
  6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  8. Utilize various measurement tools and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  10. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase production efficiency and quality.
  11. Keep detailed records of production and quality control data.
  12. Train and mentor new or less experienced machinists.
  13. Stay updated on advancements in machining technology and techniques.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: A Manufacturing Cnc Machinist At Emerson Electric Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Cnc Machines, Including Programming, Set-Up, And Operation. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Material Properties And Machining Techniques.

  • Experience With Precision Machining: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Producing Accurate And High-Quality Parts Using Cnc Machines. This Includes Experience With Various Materials, Such As Metals, Plastics, And Composites.

  • Proficiency In Technical Drawings And Specifications: The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Specifications Is Crucial For A Cnc Machinist At Emerson Electric. They Should Be Able To Understand Tolerances, Dimensions, And Geometric Dimensions And Tolerances (Gd&T).

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: Cnc Machining Requires A High Level Of Precision, And Any Errors Can Result In Costly Mistakes. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Problems Quickly And Efficiently.
