- Conduct user research studies to understand player behavior and preferences
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform design decisions for video games
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers
- Develop research plans and methodologies for various game projects
- Create and maintain user personas and journey maps
- Conduct usability testing and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX research for gaming
- Use a variety of research methods, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
- Work closely with game development teams to ensure a user-centered design process
- Continuously gather feedback and iterate on research methods to improve the user experience.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Ux Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Conducting User Research In A Corporate Or Agency Setting.
Proficiency In A Variety Of Qualitative And Quantitative Research Methods, Such As Usability Testing, Surveys, Interviews, And Data Analysis.
Strong Understanding Of The Gaming Industry, Including Current Trends And Player Demographics.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Research Findings And Recommendations To Cross-Functional Teams.
