
Senior Technical Artist (Character)
We are looking for a highly creative Senior Technical Artist (Character) to join the team at Electronic Arts! The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about video game character art and is excited to create characters that come to life in the gaming world.The Senior Technical Artist (Character) will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical processes that allow our characters to be created with ease and consistency. This role involves working closely with the character art team to ensure that characters meet the technical requirements of game production and that all art assets are optimized for the game engine.We are looking for a passionate and experienced artist who has a deep understanding of 3D character art and technical art processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game art pipelines, asset optimization, and working with game engines. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical processes for creating and optimizing character assets.
- Collaborate with the character art team to ensure characters meet the technical requirements of game production.
- Optimize character art assets for the game engine.
- Create 3D character art that meets the standards of the game production.
- Ensure all art assets are properly named, organized, and stored.
- Provide technical support to other team members from various departments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to character art and game production.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques in character art.
- Ensure that deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
- Work closely with the art director and other art team members to ensure consistency in the game's character designs.
