As a Senior QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our games, working closely with developers and designers to deliver the best possible gaming experience for our players.   1. Conduct thorough and detailed testing of video games to identify any bugs, glitches, or other issues that may affect gameplay or user experience.
  2. Collaborate with developers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
  3. Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all game features.
  4. Work closely with project managers and other team members to prioritize and track bugs and issues.
  5. Provide clear and concise feedback and reports on the status of testing and any identified issues.
  6. Use a variety of testing methods and tools to ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of the game.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in QA testing techniques and technologies.
  8. Mentor and guide junior QA testers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  9. Continuously strive to improve the overall quality and user experience of the game.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any potential roadblocks.
  11. Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes and procedures.
  12. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency in testing and reporting.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on the game and its features, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
  14. Meet tight deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  15. Ensure compliance with all company and industry standards for game testing.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Software Testing: A Senior Qa Tester At Electronic Arts Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Software Testing, Preferably In The Gaming Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Testing Process, Methodologies, And Best Practices.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaming Platforms And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Gaming Platforms, Such As Pc, Console, And Mobile, As Well As The Technologies Used To Develop And Test Games. This Includes Knowledge Of Game Engines, Scripting Languages, And Debugging Tools.

  • Leadership And Mentoring Skills: A Senior Qa Tester Should Have Experience In Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Testers. They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance And Support To Junior Testers, As Well As Coordinate With Other Teams, Such As Developers And Project Managers.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: The Gaming Industry Is Fast-Paced And Constantly Evolving, Which Means That Unexpected Issues And Bugs Can Arise At Any Time. A Senior Qa Tester Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues, As Well As Provide Recommendations For Process Improvements.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Qa Tester Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Project Managers, And Other Qa Testers. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With These Teams To Ensure High-Quality Testing And Timely Delivery Of Projects. Additionally, Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For Documenting And Reporting Bugs And Test Results.
