  1. Lead the design and development of new features and mechanics for the Skate franchise.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, programmers, and producers to bring the vision for the game to life.
  3. Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including gameplay systems, level designs, and balancing.
  4. Conduct research and analysis on current gaming trends and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
  5. Mentor and guide junior game designers, providing constructive feedback and helping them grow their skills.
  6. Collaborate with the creative director to ensure the overall vision and direction of the game is reflected in the gameplay experience.
  7. Develop and manage a schedule for the design team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  8. Conduct playtesting and incorporate feedback into the game design to ensure a high-quality player experience.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate the gameplay experience.
  10. Drive the creative direction for the game and ensure it aligns with the overall brand and target audience.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In The Skateboarding Industry: A Senior Game Designer At Electronic Arts Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Skateboarding Culture, Trends, And Community. This Includes Knowledge Of Popular Skateboarding Brands, Events, And Athletes.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Game Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Previous Work In Designing Successful Skateboarding Games. This Should Include A Variety Of Game Mechanics, Level Design, And User Experience.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Game Development Software: A Senior Game Designer Should Be Proficient In Using Game Development Software Such As Unity, Unreal Engine, Or Cryengine. They Should Also Have Experience In 3D Modeling And Animation Software.

  • Leadership And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Position, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor Other Members Of The Game Design Team. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Other Departments, Such As Art, Programming, And Marketing.

  • Passion For Skateboarding And Video Games: To Excel In This Role, The Candidate Must Have A Deep Passion For Both Skateboarding And Video Games. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date With The Latest Trends And Innovations In Both Industries And Being Able To Bring Fresh Ideas To The Table.
