  1. Conduct in-depth analysis of player and team performance data to identify trends and patterns that can be used to enhance gameplay and improve the overall user experience of our NHL franchise.
  2. Collaborate with game designers, producers, and other team members to develop and implement data-driven strategies for game features and mechanics.
  3. Utilize statistical modeling and forecasting techniques to support decision making related to game design, user engagement, and monetization opportunities.
  4. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track and communicate key performance metrics, such as player engagement and revenue, to stakeholders across the organization.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in data analytics and incorporate best practices into our processes.
  6. Mentor and train junior analysts on data analysis techniques and methodologies.
  7. Work closely with the development team to ensure data integrity and accuracy in our games.
  8. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to acquire and integrate data from various sources.
  9. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve upon our data collection and analysis processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of The National Hockey League (Nhl): A Senior Analyst At Electronic Arts Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Nhl, Including Its History, Rules, Players, And Teams. This Knowledge Is Essential For Accurately Representing The League In Ea's Video Games.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As A Senior Analyst, It Is Crucial To Have Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret And Analyze Data Related To The Nhl. This Includes Statistics, Player Performance, And League Trends To Inform Gameplay And Overall Game Development.

  • Experience In Sports Analytics: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In Sports Analytics, Preferably In The Hockey Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of How To Use Data To Inform Decisions And Improve Game Development.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Data Analysis Software: Strong Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python And Data Analysis Software Like Tableau, Are Necessary For This Role. These Tools Are Used To Analyze And Manipulate Data To Inform Game Development Decisions.

  • Team Player And Strong Communication Skills: As A Senior Analyst, You Will Work Closely With Other Members Of The Ea Team, Including Developers, Producers, And Designers. Therefore, The Ability To Collaborate Effectively And Communicate Complex Data Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Essential For Success In This Role.
