Electronic Arts is seeking a skilled Playtest Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Playtest Designer, you will have the opportunity to test and provide valuable feedback on our latest games in development. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of game mechanics, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.   1. Conduct thorough playtesting sessions to identify any issues, bugs, or gameplay flaws in our games in development.
  2. Provide detailed and constructive feedback to the development team on the gameplay, mechanics, and overall experience of the game.
  3. Collaborate with game designers and developers to refine and improve gameplay elements based on playtest results.
  4. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of game mechanics to identify potential gameplay improvements or enhancements.
  5. Create and maintain playtesting schedules, ensuring that all games are adequately tested at various stages of development.
  6. Communicate effectively with the development team to clearly convey playtest findings and suggestions for improvement.
  7. Continuously analyze and report on playtest data to inform decision-making and drive gameplay improvements.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide insights on how to incorporate new and innovative ideas into playtesting processes.
  9. Work closely with other team members to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  10. Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of the playtesting process and strive for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Game Design, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Game Development, Preferably As A Playtester Or Quality Assurance Tester.

  • Strong Understanding Of Game Mechanics, User Experience, And Game Balancing.

  • Proficiency In Industry Software And Tools, Such As Unity, Unreal Engine, Or Jira.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Provide Detailed Feedback And Bug Reports.
