- Collaborate with game development teams to identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct thorough testing of gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and other game features to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of the game, including gameplay, audio, graphics, and multiplayer functionality.
- Utilize a variety of testing methods, such as manual testing, automation testing, and exploratory testing, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide regular updates on testing progress and any discovered issues.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving game features and overall quality based on testing results.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.
- Monitor and track reported issues to ensure they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Conduct post-release testing to ensure all reported issues have been resolved and the game meets quality standards.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends, game development processes, and quality assurance techniques to improve testing strategies.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the game's target audience and provide valuable insights on gameplay and user experience.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Uphold company values and policies while representing Electronic Arts as a brand ambassador in the gaming community.
Bachelor's Degree In Graphic Design, Game Design, Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Design Software Such As Photoshop, Illustrator, And Indesign.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In The Game Industry Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Quality Assurance And Design.
Strong Understanding Of Game Design Principles And The Ability To Apply Them To Ensure High-Quality Gameplay Experiences.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Provide Constructive Feedback.
