At Eileen Fisher Inc, we are currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving. This person should be a self-starter and have an aptitude for multitasking and problem-solving.The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the inventory system. This includes working with vendors, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and creating reports to track inventory trends. The Inventory Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing the data to identify any discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management is also required. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the inventory system, including liaising with vendors and ensuring accuracy of inventory records.
- Create reports to track inventory trends and analyze data to identify and take corrective action for discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to inventory standards.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Monitor stock levels and identify areas of potential stock shortages.
- Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze current inventory processes and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and submit inventory forecasts.
