Job Description

At Eileen Fisher Inc, we are looking for a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to join our team. This role requires a passion for fashion and a strong eye for detail, along with a dedication to staying ahead of the latest trends. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who is able to bring fresh ideas to the table, and must have the ability to work collaboratively with the design team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of fashion design experience and a strong portfolio of work. Responsibilities:

  1. Create innovative designs for Eileen Fisher Inc. that stay ahead of the latest fashion trends.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to develop creative concepts and ideas.
  3. Source and select fabrics, trims, and other materials.
  4. Create sketches, tech packs, and prototypes for the designs.
  5. Make sure the designs adhere to company standards and quality control.
  6. Stay informed of industry trends and competitor products.
  7. Assist in creating line sheets, look books, and other presentations.
  8. Monitor the production process to ensure designs are created accurately.
