Sr. Tax Principal

Ecolab is looking for an experienced and driven professional to join our team as a Senior Tax Principal. The ideal candidate for this role will have a comprehensive knowledge of global tax planning and compliance strategies, and the ability to lead and manage a team of tax professionals. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the success of Ecolab's tax department.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an excellent understanding of global tax regulations and a commitment to excellence. To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in International and/or Federal Taxation as well as a CPA or Masters of Taxation degree. In addition, experience in providing tax advice and guidance to executive level management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities: -Develop and implement global tax planning and compliance strategies. -Lead and manage a team of tax professionals. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global tax regulations. -Provide tax advice and guidance to executive-level management. -Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. -Prepare and file all international and/or federal tax returns. -Assist with the development of effective tax minimization strategies. -Identify and analyze potential areas of tax savings. -Conduct research on complex tax issues. -Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tax filings. -Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax implications of transactions. -Monitor tax payments and filings to ensure accuracy. -Perform audits to verify compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
