The Regional Process Safety Engineer Lead will be a leader in developing, coordinating, and executing process safety initiatives. They will be a champion for safety and will actively promote, monitor, and assess process safety and risk management practices throughout the region.The successful candidate must be a motivated team player who is not afraid to take the initiative and lead with enthusiasm. They must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and be comfortable working collaboratively with a variety of different stakeholders. 1. Develop, coordinate, and execute process safety initiatives for the region.
2. Promote, monitor, and assess process safety and risk management practices.
3. Lead process safety teams in completing tasks.
4. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.
5. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
6. Provide technical assistance to personnel in the region.
7. Conduct audits and assessments of operations and processes.
8. Train and mentor personnel on safety protocols and procedures.
9. Investigate incidents, analyze data, and develop corrective actions.
10. Participate in emergency management activities.
