Job Description

At Ecolab, we are seeking a highly motivated and creative Process Design Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who is excited to take on a range of design challenges. As a Process Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions that are cost-effective, reliable, and adhere to safety and quality standards.The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent; have 3+ years of experience in process design and engineering; and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate should be highly detail-oriented and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively collaborate with other departments. Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions that are cost-effective, reliable, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  2. Analyze existing engineering processes in order to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop process models and simulations to evaluate the performance of engineering solutions.
  4. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that engineering solutions are in line with overall business objectives.
  5. Research and evaluate new technologies and materials in order to incorporate them into existing processes.
  6. Create detailed cost estimates for engineering projects.
  7. Develop technical documents and reports in order to communicate project findings.
  8. Monitor the performance of engineering solutions to ensure that they remain compliant with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  9. Develop plans and strategies for the implementation of engineering solutions.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to process design and engineering.
