  1. Develop and implement complex international tax planning strategies to reduce the company's tax liabilities and maximize tax efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and accounting, to ensure tax planning strategies align with business objectives.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of global tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
  4. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively assess their impact on the company's tax strategies.
  5. Prepare and review tax calculations, returns, and disclosures for international entities.
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline tax processes and increase efficiency.
  7. Communicate with external tax advisors and tax authorities to resolve any tax-related issues or disputes.
  8. Provide guidance and support to other members of the tax team, as well as cross-functional teams, on international tax matters.
  9. Participate in tax audits and assist with responding to tax authorities' inquiries.
  10. Keep accurate and organized records of all tax-related activities.
  11. Contribute to the development and maintenance of tax policies and procedures.
  12. Mentor and train junior tax analysts on tax planning strategies and processes.
  13. Actively seek opportunities for continuous learning and development to enhance tax expertise and stay updated on industry trends.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive tax information.
  15. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely and accurate completion.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills - The Ability To Analyze Complex Tax Scenarios And Develop Effective Solutions Is Essential For A Principal Tax Analyst In Order To Optimize Ecolab's Tax Planning Strategies.

  • Experience With Global Tax Planning And Compliance - Ecolab Operates In Multiple Countries, So A Principal Tax Analyst Must Have Experience With Global Tax Planning And Compliance To Ensure The Company's Tax Strategies Are In Line With Local Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills - A Principal Tax Analyst Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Tax Concepts And Strategies To Both Internal And External Stakeholders. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Necessary To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
