  1. Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify and assess pest infestations.
  2. Create customized treatment plans based on pest type, severity of infestation, and customer preferences.
  3. Administer pest control treatments in a safe and effective manner, following company protocols and procedures.
  4. Educate customers on pest prevention and proper sanitation practices to minimize future infestations.
  5. Use and maintain equipment and chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.
  6. Keep accurate records of treatments, inspections, and customer interactions.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of all service calls.
  8. Continuously educate oneself on new pest control techniques, products, and regulations.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional customer service.
  10. Proactively identify and report any potential pest control issues to management.
  11. Represent Ecolab in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and customer safety.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
  15. Meet or exceed assigned sales and service goals.
  16. Uphold Ecolab's values of respect, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in all interactions.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Required For A Pest Control Technician Job At Ecolab. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Academic Skills And Is Able To Comprehend Training Materials And Instructions.

  • Pest Control Certification: Ecolab Requires All Pest Control Technicians To Be Certified By A Recognized Pest Control Association, Such As The National Pest Management Association (Npma) Or The Entomological Society Of America (Esa). This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Possesses The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Control Pests.

  • Previous Experience: While Not Always Required, Previous Experience In Pest Control Or A Related Field Can Be Highly Beneficial For A Pest Control Technician At Ecolab. This Experience Can Demonstrate The Candidate's Expertise And Familiarity With Industry Practices And Procedures.

  • Physical Stamina: Pest Control Technicians At Ecolab May Be Required To Work Long Hours, Lift Heavy Equipment, And Perform Physically Demanding Tasks. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess The Physical Stamina And Strength To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: A Pest Control Technician At Ecolab Must Have Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
