Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, maintain, and optimize GIS and database systems to meet the organization’s data and mapping needs.
2. Lead a team of GIS and database administrators in the development of new and existing GIS and database systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS and database systems.
4. Work with stakeholders to develop and manage GIS and database projects.
5. Monitor and tune GIS and database performance.
6. Design and implement database security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
7. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and system diagrams.
8. Develop and maintain GIS and database scripts, stored procedures, and automated jobs.
9. Provide training and technical support to end-users.
10. Stay abreast of new GIS and database technologies and trends.
