- Operate and maintain flexographic printing press according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and set up press for production runs, including selecting appropriate printing plates, inks, and materials.
- Monitor and adjust press settings to ensure accurate and consistent printing of labels and packaging materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with press performance, such as color discrepancies or mechanical malfunctions.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure printed materials meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members, including designers and production managers, to ensure efficient and timely completion of orders.
- Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and suggest solutions for any issues that arise.
- Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Train and mentor new press operators as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in flexographic printing technology.
- Represent Ecolab in a professional manner and contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work culture.
Experience In Operating Flexographic Printing Presses: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Operating Flexographic Printing Presses, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Packaging Environment. They Should Be Familiar With The Setup And Operation Of The Press, As Well As Troubleshooting Common Issues That May Arise During Production.
Knowledge Of Printing Materials And Processes: A Good Understanding Of The Different Types Of Printing Materials And Processes Used In Flexographic Printing Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Ink Types, Substrates, And Printing Techniques, As Well As Color Management And Quality Control.
Familiarity With Safety Protocols: As A Flexographic Press Operator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For The Safe Operation Of The Press And The Maintenance Of A Clean And Organized Work Area. Therefore, They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them Diligently To Prevent Accidents And Maintain A Safe Working Environment.
Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues That May Arise During Production. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Make Adjustments And Improvements To The Printing Process, Ensuring The Best Quality Output.
