  1. Oversee and manage the flow of products and materials through the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  2. Utilize strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team of logistics associates towards operational excellence.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, and production to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  6. Maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure all shipments are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  8. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for logistics processes and train team members accordingly.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure adequate supply levels.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any shipping or delivery issues promptly and effectively.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  12. Mentor and train junior logistics team members to develop their skills and contribute to the success of the team.
  13. Handle any escalated logistics issues and proactively take steps to prevent future issues.
  14. Collaborate with the logistics team to develop and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  15. Strive to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Managerial Role

  • Strong Understanding Of Transportation And Distribution Processes, Including Knowledge Of Freight Cost Optimization And Inventory Management

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Familiarity With Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards.
