  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs.
  4. Monitor and track safety metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  5. Investigate and report on any safety incidents or near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Keep up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry organizations.
  9. Communicate and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
  10. Provide support and guidance to employees on safety-related matters.
  11. Participate in SHE initiatives and projects to continuously improve the organization's safety performance.
  12. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
  13. Conduct safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes.
  14. Identify and implement best practices for promoting a sustainable work environment.
  15. Collaborate with employees at all levels to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  16. Continuously review and update safety policies and procedures to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
  17. Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  18. Develop and maintain safety-related documentation and records.
  19. Stay informed of new and emerging safety technologies and trends to improve safety practices.
  20. Mentor and train new employees on safety procedures and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role Or Internship, Preferably Within The Chemical Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Environmental Regulations And Safety Standards, Including Osha And Epa Requirements.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Potential Risks Or Hazards.
