Job Description

At ECCO, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who is committed to excellence and has a passion for finding ways to save money and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role, the Procurement Specialist must have a minimum of five years of procurement-related experience, as well as a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. They must also possess a comprehensive understanding of the procurement process and be highly familiar with procurement software. A strong knowledge of contracts and the legal aspects of procurement is also required.The Procurement Specialist must be a proactive and organized individual with the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. They must also have a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with our team of Procurement Specialists to ensure that all procurement needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies and tactics to reduce costs and create cost savings
  2. Evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for best terms and pricing
  3. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors
  4. Monitor and report on purchasing activities and costs
  5. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  6. Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities
  8. Utilize procurement software to manage and track procurement activities
  9. Research and analyze market trends to identify cost savings opportunities
  10. Provide customer service and support to internal customers and stakeholders
