Job Description

At ECCO, we are currently searching for a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a talented individual who can strengthen the purchasing department and work with our Procurement Manager to identify and source the best suppliers and products. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, committed to achieving cost savings, and have proven experience in a similar role.The successful applicant will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in a procurement role. Experience in the retail industry and knowledge of ERP systems are both considered strong assets.The successful candidate will need to be an effective communicator, able to build relationships with suppliers and negotiate cost savings for ECCO. They will also need to be a strategic thinker, with the ability to identify potential opportunities and maximize value for the company. A strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures is essential.If you are a passionate and energetic individual with the required qualifications and are looking to take your procurement career to the next level, then this might be the right role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Source and identify potential suppliers and products that meet ECCO’s requirements.
  2. Negotiate cost savings with suppliers and maximize value for the company.
  3. Maintain relationships with suppliers and build trust to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
  4. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve cost savings.
  5. Monitor procurement processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  6. Analyze and evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to the Procurement Manager.
  7. Monitor changes in the retail industry and assess potential impacts on ECCO’s procurement strategies.
  8. Utilize ERP systems to facilitate procurement processes.
  9. Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the procurement process.
  10. Prepare and present reports to the Procurement Manager on procurement activities.
