Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including tracking of shipments, arranging transportation, and coordinating with vendors.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer deliveries.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
  4. Maintain and update transportation and logistics systems.
  5. Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and shipments to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors.
  8. Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis as required.
  9. Assist in the training and development of logistics personnel.
  10. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
