  1. Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly Android applications for eBay's global e-commerce platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Act as the technical expert for Android development, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
  4. Ensure the robustness and scalability of our Android applications, conducting regular code reviews and implementing best practices.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to Android development.
  6. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  7. Work closely with product and design teams to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  8. Proactively identify and propose solutions for potential roadblocks or challenges in the development process.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate eBay's mobile offerings.
  10. Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of the development process.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Android Development: A Sr. Android Architect At Ebay Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Developing Android Applications, With A Strong Portfolio Of Successful Projects.

  • Expertise In Android Architecture And Design Patterns: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Android Application Architecture, Including Mvp, Mvvm, And Clean Architecture, And Should Be Able To Apply Design Patterns Effectively.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Android Sdk And Tools: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Android Sdk And Tools Such As Gradle, Android Studio, And Adb, And Should Be Able To Use Them To Optimize App Performance And Maintain Code Quality.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Frameworks: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Java And Kotlin, And Should Have Experience Working With Popular Android Libraries And Frameworks Such As Rxjava, Retrofit, And Dagger.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: A Sr. Android Architect At Ebay Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, And Should Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Android Developers To Deliver High-Quality Products On Time. Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role Is Preferred.
