- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance trust and safety on the eBay platform.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of trust and safety operations, including fraud prevention, risk management, and content moderation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats to the eBay community.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to trust and safety, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to trust and safety.
- Collaborate with external partners and law enforcement agencies to investigate and resolve trust and safety issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of trust and safety professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily operations.
- Communicate and report on trust and safety metrics and initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing trust and safety processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in trust and safety, and integrate them into the eBay platform.
Extensive Experience In Trust And Safety Operations: A Senior Manager In This Position Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Trust And Safety Operations, Preferably In A Large-Scale E-Commerce Or Technology Company. This Experience Should Include Managing Teams, Developing And Implementing Strategies, And Handling Complex Trust And Safety Issues.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Relevant Regulatory Frameworks And Industry Best Practices Related To Trust And Safety. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Privacy, Fraud Prevention, And Consumer Protection Laws And Regulations.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Results: The Senior Manager Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Executing Strategies To Improve Trust And Safety Metrics. This Includes Experience In Identifying And Addressing Emerging Risks, Reducing Fraud And Abuse, And Enhancing User Trust.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Will Require The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Legal, Product, Engineering, And Customer Support. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Motivate And Manage A Team Of Trust And Safety Professionals.
