  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the authentication program, including staffing, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve and innovate the authentication process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers.
  • Monitor and analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize the authentication program.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in the authentication space to ensure eBay's program remains competitive and up-to-date.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as luxury brands and verification companies, to enhance the credibility and effectiveness of the authentication program.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of authentication experts to uphold the highest standards of authenticity and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to authentication and product authenticity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and customer service, to address any authentication-related issues or concerns raised by customers.
