  1. Develop and maintain high-performing streaming platforms for eBay, ensuring smooth and efficient streaming experiences for users.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for the streaming platform, while also improving existing ones.
  4. Perform code reviews, identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to ensure the stability and scalability of the platform.
  5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the streaming platform.
  6. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality and user-friendly products.
  7. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to coding standards and best practices.
  8. Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference.
  9. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on coding best practices and new technologies.
  11. Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the streaming platform.
  12. Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the team.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  15. Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of the streaming platform, and implement optimizations and improvements as needed.

  • Strong Programming Skills: As A Platform Software Engineer (Streaming) At Ebay, You Will Be Responsible For Designing, Developing, And Maintaining High-Performance Streaming Platforms. Therefore, You Must Possess Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Java, Scala, Or Python.
