- Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies and initiatives for eBay's cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and tasks related to cloud security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and secure cloud environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud computing and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments of the cloud infrastructure to identify and address any security gaps.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to detect and respond to any security incidents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for the cloud environment.
- Identify and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of the cloud infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance the security of our cloud infrastructure.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on the status and progress of cloud security initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive innovation in cloud security.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud security and make recommendations for their implementation in eBay's cloud environment.
- Handle any other duties or responsibilities related to cloud security as assigned by the management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Cloud Security, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cloud Security Best Practices, Including Experience With Aws, Microsoft Azure, And Google Cloud.
Strong Understanding Of Software Engineering Principles And Experience Working With Agile Methodologies.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Security Controls In A Large-Scale Cloud Environment.
