Job Description

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive global trust strategy for eBay, taking into account the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of trust and risk management for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential areas of risk and develop plans to mitigate and manage those risks.
  4. Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments in trust and risk management, and make recommendations for improvement and growth.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  6. Drive operational efficiencies to enhance the overall customer experience, while maintaining a focus on building and maintaining trust with customers.
  7. Lead and develop a team of trust and risk management professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal, finance, and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in trust and risk management practices.
  9. Prepare and present reports and updates to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  10. Continuously assess and improve trust and risk management processes and procedures, utilizing data and analytics to inform decision-making.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance trust and risk management efforts.
  12. Serve as an ambassador for the company, promoting a culture of trust and transparency both internally and externally.
