- Procurement Management: Responsible for managing the procurement process for all non-production materials, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and developing supplier relationships.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of inventory for non-production materials, ensuring timely availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for non-production materials, while maintaining quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve any issues that may arise, and build strong relationships to support the company's needs.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement and inventory management processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement and inventory management processes comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production and finance, to understand their material needs and provide support in meeting their goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for non-production materials, providing regular updates and identifying areas for cost control.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement and inventory management processes.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on procurement and inventory management best practices to ensure a high level of performance and consistency within the department.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Indirect Materials Procurement, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Chemical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes And Supply Chain Management Principles.
Proficiency In Using Procurement Software And Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Excellent Analytical And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Negotiate And Build Relationships With Suppliers.
