Principal Systems Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Systems Engineer to join our Eastern Bank team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state of the art systems and technologies to meet the needs of Eastern Bank’s customers and employees.The ideal candidate has comprehensive knowledge of systems engineering principles, experience with system integration, and the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team. A successful Principal Systems Engineer will have an eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and a drive to stay ahead of the technology curve.Required qualifications include:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- At least five years’ experience in system engineering, software development, or a related field- Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Science principles and practices- Demonstrated expertise in system integration- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Commitment to staying up to date on the latest technology trends

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
