1. Develop and implement the outsourced procurement strategy for Dyson, in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
2. Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage relationships with key partners.
3. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions for the procurement process.
4. Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support and development to ensure the team's success.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure effective communication and alignment on procurement initiatives.
7. Monitor and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
8. Proactively identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues within the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions to operations.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to continuously improve and optimize the procurement process.
